It’s a know thing by everyone who isn’t an ostrich that he’s got melted chocolate chip ice cream for brains and the GOP can’t get their head out of their asses. My issue is pretty much always with the media.

Well since we're guaranteed to get a braindead president in 2024 (let's be honest, the libertarians could run 1984 Ronald Regan fused with 2023 Obama and they'd still get 1% of the vote because they can't win), so let's roll with Biden since it seems like he can just pull a second term Regan move of nodding off and letting someone else make decisions.

This reminds me of when Hillary made the "deplorables" quip and Trump fans turned it into a label of pride and a rallying cry.  He's tapping into voter's desire to dupe themselves into believing their own projected hype upon a candidate.  It also further shows the mindset of voters as we vote against people we dislike more than we vote for those we do.  Biden and/or his team know that leading people to think of people like Trump and MTG when they think about how much they "support" him is right out of the same playbook that made Trump look good when compared to Hillary.

It also seems like a bit of childish payback towards conservatives who have to watch liberals know their candidate is a bit full of it, but hey they don't care. If Trump can be the hard-working, blue collar, country before self, god-lovin' republican his fanbase pretends he is, then Dark Brandon can be the badass ultra-progressive fighter they want to pretend he is.
