This information comes from SK interviews with people who have escaped
from NK prisons. One was just such a 3rd generation prisoner and I
believe he had a wife. Guy was completely disoriented; know knowedge
whatsoever of the outside world. His grandfather somehow crossed the
original Kim back in the early 50s.

4th generational marriage privileges.
Doesn't seem like a Kim move. "We'll imprison you for life (and torture you to no end) but allow a conjugal visit!"
Also, who would marry into that? "I don't get to ever see you and I don't know what you're like outside of jail and having sex on these visits, but let's get married!"
