Except everyone is a racist to some degree. I just find it easier not to say racist things when you respect other people.

But they support the team...which is paying the players salaries.  Sorry.

Quote:The Bengals kicked off the 2015 season with a new $10 million Daktronics scoreboard at Paul Brown Stadium. Hamilton County taxpayers are covering $7.5 million of the cost, which is part of a broader deal the county and Bengals reached whereby the team will pay about $4 million toward stadium improvements. Taxpayers might as well get used to such subsidies as the lease between the team and county requires the county to cover renovations for years through a county-wide sales tax. The Bengals took advantage last season of the NFL's 85% rule regarding blackouts. The rule allows teams to declare a sellout and broadcast a game on local TV if only 85% of non-premium tickets are sold. The NFL relaxed its previous 100% tickets-sold policy in 2012, but teams must declare before the season if they want the rule to apply to them.

Now you're moving the goalposts, because the meme was about supporting the NFLPA.  Nor do I remember many people picketing in support of players during the last lockout.  Not to mention, player salaries and deals like this have NOTHING to do with one another (because salaries are based on revenues, not costs).

And increasingly taxpayers are, when they have opportunity to do so, voting AGAINST tax incentives for sports teams.
