I can tell you that the current "right wing" cares only about themselves. Unless you count caring for their corporate sponsors.
Yeah, unfortunately, it is a bipartisan problem. Pretending that this is a one side thing is going to just perpetuate the problem. The leftists that are trying to pull the party back to the days of the New Deal need to team up with Burkean conservatives to get our country back on track.

You just put up a meme that says you can.
So a person who holds conservative beliefs holds them solely for his own gain? What about all the people referred to as rubes for voting against their own interests according to progressives? They are actually ridiculed for voting against their own interests.

I agree with the "us" people.
And that to me is people on the "left".
Not what gets called the left by elected officials and the media.

Are you for equal rights? Are you FOR the working people and against tax "plans" that put more money into the hands of the top 1% and less into the middle class? Are you for an immigration policy that doesn't separate families and allows for the proper funding of the services to create legal citizens? What about education funding? For it?
If the meme doesn't apply to what YOU believe what do you want me tell you?

Conservatives of the Burke tradition have a concern for the common good. I may not agree with all of their positions, but they are more concerned for the citizenry than the corporations. Meanwhile, the neo-liberals that currently make up the establishment of the Democratic Party are voting to deregulate and hand the country over to the corporations and the wealthy right along with the GOP.

What if I’m for tax cuts that favor the top 1% and I’m not in that group? How is that a me thing? Again when people are chastised for voting against their own interests isn’t that saying they should be me people?
I’m for a lot of individual liberties, not just the cool ones. For instance I think a business owner should be able to determine if people can smoke in their establishment. I neither smoke nor own a business.

Yep. It's a "me" thing. You aren't the "me" but you sure as hell are supporting the people who are.

Look if you are for spreading cancer I suppose that's a "me" thing too.

So it’s not a me thing as your meme suggested as there are millions of conservatives not in the top 1%.
So we do like authoritarianism when we know what’s better for people than they do.

Yup. In sports terms these people are called homers, or ones that will cheer on their side and blindly defend it.

It's not Pence who will be president from 2024 to 2032 so you must mean that Socialist Democrat who beat Crowly in New York.
Yeah, I can agree with that, lol.
By the way, it's around this time, between 2032 to 2035 that will be 2000 years since the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I can see a Socialist ushering in the Rapture and Tribulation.

Yes, you are correct. Pence will not be President from 2024 to 2032.
But he could possibly be one from 2019-2020.

Hell, you and I are probably a few in this forum to realize that minesweeper was on the cutting edge of CPU games.
I do remember playing Leisure Suit Larry on floppy disc.

I loved that game but it always came down to luck with the last few mines. I will say that my win/loss ratio was 5/1 which ain't to bad.
