Dalton just makes them look better.

Whitworth, Zeitler, Smith, Boling. Green , Sanu, Jones, Eifert, Gresham, Bernard, Boyd.

That's as good as anything the Steelers have had if not better.

No. The Steelers offensive line has been ranked in the Top 5 for years.

Ben has had more consistent tight ends (ones not injured).

His receiving core is just better. Brown and Juju combined are better completely than our receiving core.

Le'Veon Bell anyone?

Whit is probably the only name you mentioned that didn’t have a better counterpart on Pittsburgh over the years.

Maybe Eifert. But we really only got one good year out of him. I’d take the less talented, but more durable Heath Miller over him tbh.

1 All Pro (Whitworth once) and 3 Pro Bowl players (Green, Gresham, Eifert)

Steelers 4 All Pros...Maurkice Pouncy (twice) Antonio Brown (4 times), Leveon Bell (twice) David DeCastro (twice)

Steeler 4 Pro Bowlers....Heath Miller (twice), Allejandro Villanueva (once), Mike Wallace (once) Roosevelt Nix (once)

Nix may have been a special teams selection instead of for his offense, but you still have 10 All Pro seasons fro the Steelers compared to one for the Bengals.

Some rookie named Samuels dropped 142 yds on NE last night. They’re something else how they can just plug anyone in there and be dominant.

I disagree, but to each their own. Pouncy, DeCastro, Foster, Villenueva, Gilbert.....this current iteration is rated as the best in the league.....and their predecessors were no slouches. Heath Miller, Brown, JuJu, Wallace, Williams, Wheaton, Bryant, Sanders, Burress, Ward.....all of these players are as good as anything we've had, and some are much better.

I don't use pro bowls as a measuring stick because a lot of it is a popularity contest.  Whitworth deserved a lot more pro bowls. Zeitler did as well. Even Smith had a couple pro bowl level years and wasn't selected.  Bernard probably has deserved a couple pro bowls.

This doesn't include secondary players who have turned into very good starters for other teams like Jones and Sanu. There's Boyd who is playing close to pro bowl level.  Mixon is playing at a pro bowl level and probably wont get selected.

The Bengals players don't get as many pro bowls selections as popular teams like the Steelers or Cowboys.

That's as good as anything the Steelers have had if not better.

Villaneueva, Foster, Pouncey, DeCastro, Gilbert, Brown, McDonald, Juju, Bell, Conner, James, Heath Miller.

4 of those Steelers have been named All-Pro players.

Only one of those Bengals have been named All-Pro players.

Wanted to leave out Pro-Bowl voting since, well, that can be perceived as popularity (and it normally is).

If I were, then 6 of those 12 players I named have also gone to the Pro Bowl.
And there would be 4 out of the 11 players you named.

So what about the All-Pro facet?

All pro is better but even then it has bias built in.  Our offensive line during Daltons first 5 years was as good or better than the Steelers. Obviously right now it's much worse.

I'd say Bernard was playing at pro bowl level a couple seasons. He put up over 1200 total yards, when you combine rushing and receiving, and 7 to 8 TD's , for a couple of seasons. That's close to pro bowl level.

Darren Sproles made the pro bowl for three seasons in row, and in each of those he had around 750 totals yards and 5 TD's. Much worse than Bernard who has put up some big seasons that have gone under the radar. We're talking 1200 plus total yards and 8 TD kind of seasons.

In a big market like Philly, Bernard would have gone to 3 pro bowls minimum.

I like Gio a lot, but I don’t think he’s ever been pro bowl caliber.

You know everyone mentions Green Sanu and Marvin Jones as really the only receivers Dalton has thrown too.

How about Jerome Simpson, Andre Caldwell, Andrew Hawkins, Jermaine Gresham.
