Tim Tebow? That’s not only outside the box, that’s outside the earths atmosphere. Not roasting at all, but not exactly a suggested candidate I thought I would see posted.

it appears folks still found something to argue about in a Marvin gets fired thread.
Please save the Cousins/Zims discussions for where they belong; as neither has to do with Marvin getting fired or our replacement HC
As to the topic: No secret that I always liked Marvin. It started one year when we were coaching the Senior Bowl. They showed Marvin on the sidelines and you could tell he was the only coach that cared. It continued to Hard Knocks when he pulls up to the gate to enter PB stadium. First he was rocking KC and the Sunshine Band in the truck so he got props for that. Secondly the gate was broken. Marvin just kinda laughed it off and said business as usual and finally just drove the truck over the barrier to enter the parking lot like he'd done many times before. You knew that he was used to dealing with subpar facilities.
I wish him luck and had hoped Mikey would have rewarded him with a FO job. I personally think he should move on to one of the pregame shows. If he moves on elsewhere DC/HC I hope it's not in the AFC North.
Good luck Marvin and Godspeed.

The dude is not a good coach. He really wasn't a good DC either. O-v-e-r-r-a-t-e-d.
league has changed.. if you don;t have offense in today's game, it is much harder to win.. the person that should have been fired with him would be the savior GM who blames it on the coaches.. he has not drafted a good QB yet...

21-32-1
Can't break it down compared to individual QBs, but since 2011 only 7 teams have a better winning percentage against winning teams than Dalton's .398

You can't take one away and then not grant him the other. And even if that play doesn't go for a TD they'd set themselves up for a chance at a FG.
Look, I know today is a bad day for you, but don't make logic and common sense the collateral damage here.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

I think when Tebow fizzles out of sports he's going to go into politics or be the leader of some crazy cult, or something. Maybe we will see Tebow and Rosen running for office in 20 years or so. Head to head!!!! Tune in!

Maybe old Marv will go back to coaching in college. I think there is an opening at Clapping College, his alma mater.

Ironically, when our offense was playing well earlier in the year...our defense was horrible.

Someone mentioned Tebow, so I think things are really going to go off base now.

I'm late to the party yet man has this been long overdue. Finally. I also think Hue will NOT be selected as the next coach of the Cincinnati Bengals.

at least now we can get a new fresh coaching staff that is current and relevant to the NFL 2019...
no more coaches like Lazor stuck in 1998

4. Jimmy Garoppolo: $27.5M

Which makes a strong case for drafting one and using the money elsewhere.
Lots of teams with QB’s on rookie contracts in the playoffs this year.
Mahomes
Goff
Trubisky
Watson
Prescott
Jackson
And the rest (excluding Philly) are the top guys like Brady, Brees, Rivers, Luck, and Wilson.

Aaron Rodgers is 10-12-1 over the last two seasons.
So who are these QBs who can win without taklent around them?

To say the offense was "playing well" early in the year is a bit of a stretch. They had some moments but I'm not so sure they had any sustained "playing well" ?

No it doesn't. Next year Dalton will make at least $10 million less than those top 5 did this year.
