The burglary and copying data (doesn't really say what data) is 100 percent criminal and should serve whatever punishment is established.
But...
The article seems to indicate it's a bigger issue that he was sending out lawmakers' phone numbers and addresses. I have 0 problem with that . Lobbyists shouldn't be the only ones with access to lawmakers. If crooked, morally malnourished individuals don't like having their dinner interrupted or their phone ringing, then they shouldn't be crooked and morally malnourished.

I always find cases where a person is fired and retaliates against their former employer interesting.
It's like...you're one of the top suspects before evidence is even collected. I'd be surprised if former employees (especially those that were fired) weren't the first people investigators look into in cases like this.
