Pat's eliminate Mixon from their draft board!

Big Ben hits on women and Mixon hits women. Both are scumbags and I don't want them on the Bengals.

The clear difference between a great HC & organization and this regime. I couldn't agree with BB & TC more.

We're clearly bottom feeders and they are an apex predator.

Well, well, well.

So they take a guy off the board who hit a random girl, but they are bringing in Adrian Peterson who beat his kid silly with a stick.  I guess it doesn't count as domestic abuse since it was just a child.

Gotta love the moral high ground the Pats sit on.

BUMP!!! For all of you woman hating Mixon lovers, new info just came to light of him allegedly hitting another girl and throwing her to the ground while in HS. It will be all over this board soon enough. Enjoy your day.

Quote:As the draft approaches, one of the most controversial prospect has a second past incident bubbling to the surface. However, the man who alleged that his daughter was struck by Joe Mixon in high school has since reversed course.

In a report read by the lawyer for the woman struck by Mixon in 2014 during her interview with police, Anthony Hernandez said, “I know for a fact he threw my daughter to the ground and hit her.” Hernandez, who made the claim originally on Facebook, thereafter recanted his claims with another Facebook post.
On March 30, 2017, Hernandez forwarded the text of the clarification to Mixon’s lawyer, Blake Johnson of Crowe & Dunlevy. On Wednesday morning, Blake Johnson forwarded the clarification to PFT.
“I have recently learned that a comment I made about Joe Mixon on social media a few years ago is now receiving a lot of attention. I want to explain that comment and clarify that I do not believe Joe ever did anything to hurt my daughter,” Hernandez wrote.
“My daughter went to Freedom High School with Joe, and they have been friends for much of their lives. Once, when they were in school together, my daughter had a minor disagreement with some of her classmates that got blown out of proportion. Like any father would, I reacted emotionally. Unfortunately, I did so before I had all the facts. Now, having talked to my daughter and investigated the whole story, I realize that I was mistaken about Joe’s involvement. I definitely overreacted, and I regret that my words might have given some people the wrong impression about Joe. I know that Joe did not hurt my daughter, did not intend to, and would not do so.
“Joe and my daughter are still good friends. Joe is a great kid with a bright future in front of him, and he is welcome in my home anytime.
“My family and I value our privacy. I hope that my statement puts this matter to rest. We will not respond to further media inquiries about this.”
Blake Johnson also told PFT that he “spoke to multiple administrative officials at Freedom High School who assured me that no such incident ever took place there,” and that Mixon’s disciplinary record from high school reveals no such incident.
“Norman Police also ran Joe’s juvenile record with law enforcement in California and they had no record of any such report or incident (or any other criminal incident on part of Joe),” Johnson said via email. “I’m fairly confident that the incident described in Mr. Hernandez’s original [Facebook] post did not happen.”

What money does he have? He hasn't made it to the NFL yet. And the comment was made years ago, just now being brought to the surface.

You just refuse to see his incident in college as an isolated incident. Because he made one mistake he is now the devil. People change. People deserve more than one chance. I'm more than confident you've done some messed up things in your life. I do not support the beating of women. I think what Mixon did was awful.

You're reaching. If a father was as mad as he acted like he was and there was proof a guy did something to his daughter a police report would have been filed. No police report filed means he probably over reacted to false information and this is a non starter.

I agree he prolly got paid off. Yeah. He just happened to send the clarification to mixons lawyers. And for the 'he doesn't have anything crowd'... He's got a loyds of London policy on his knees, LAWYERS, and some dirtball sooner boosters. Dude can pay off some strange's pops.

Now for the issue at hand. Pats took them off their board bc they pick up cheap backs all the time and plug them in. They can afford to take this guy off the board to separate themselves from their murderous past.

I could personally care less if we sent duke to Guantanamo for a pro day at this point. I just want some gd results. We're never going to shake the stereotypes constantly hurled at us and to be honest I don't give 2 turds what most of them say. We have much bigger issues.

But whatever. Your wife knows your phone unlock code. I get your angle...

I agree Vas. My thread title choice was poor. I basically had just read the article and just reposted what was mentioned in it as the title. I'm like you, I just wanna win one before death. Already have lost several friends & family member's that were lifelong Bengal fans. I mostly want them to win for my lost brothers, Cam Cat, and us true fans.

If we take the kid, I hope he has a stellar career and has a wonderful life. The " where there's smoke, there's fire thing", worries me though.

Once again I can't stand NE, but those cats sure are successful. I mean they even shut down ole Rog & made him eat his words.
