Two more runs like that out of that formation and we can go PA to AJ deep

This is the longest 3rd quarter ever. Still 7 minutes left.

If Boyd catches it and makes a football move (who knows what this means), then he is considered a runner and wouldn't have to maintain possession through the catch if he crosses the plane while in possession.

I saw Boyd take two steps before he got hit. I think it is up to the discretion of the ref to determine if that is considered a football move or not. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
I don't get 'football move' either as opposed to what ?  hitting the ball with a baseball bat? A teather ball move perhaps ?

He was reaching to break the plane.

Last season for him that was a catch before the second foot ever came down and he broke the plane.  I tend to think he did that still applied after the second foot, but it's pretty subjective.

The only consistant thing the NFL has said is that you have to maintain possession through the ground when you are a receiver. If he holds the ball tight to his body he is down on the 1 and it is first and goal. Just wish that were a point of emphasis for our WR's.
