Wouldn't stopping freedom of the press be against the constitution?  Isn't controlling the press one of the ways Hitler rose to power?

So what were your thoughts when Trump repeatedly, or say habitually, called the media the enemy of the people, threatened to open up those libel laws, or when border patrol denied congressmen access to many facilities and tried to confiscate their phones?
