Under what authority would the government force someone to vote? Who are you or anyone else to tell someone they have to vote? That’s no different than denying someone a vote. How this is even a discussion is beyond me.
Maybe the same way they force you to wear a seat belt in a vehicle. If they catch you not doing it, you pay a fine.
Are you saying it's difficult to vote? Do you vote? If you vote when you don't have to vote, how would it then become a problem if you have to vote?
