PFF: Cincinnati did exactly what it should have done
#85
Defense should be interesting. We finally once again have pass rush ability both inside and outside on the DL and also pass rush from the secondary - which has been extensively retooled and now if they play their beloved zone we actually have people back there who are good in zone. We used both Free Agency and the draft to reload on defense so we are not in the spot we were last year where injuries forced us to play "players" like LeShaun Sims.

We actually did the same thing on offense, especially offensive line. We definitely improved RT and by taking 3 linemen we again reloaded and as such we are not likely to be again seeing MJ in the lineup. Carman also looks like he will be an excellent Guard and combined with XSF and Spain means our Guard room is not a disaster area. Smith, Johnson and Adeniji are the backup Tackle group at present and again it is solid.

My biggest reservation is Zac Taylor and Lou as coaches. Pollack I am not concerned about and he will coach up the picks just fine. But ZT and Lou? Eh....
