What you quoted was addressed to Fox News talking points now embedded in law, not CRT. 

This is another faux panic, like the rush to pass anti-sharia laws in state legislatures some years back. 

What this has to do with history?--The point is to shut down discussion of historical issues/legacies and how they continue to shape the present.
