I'm, going to be at a conference this weekend about outdoor programs for Scouts. One of the sessions is about making shooting sports more inclusive. I am going in there solely to tell them we need to sever ties with the NRA and either develop our own certification system or work with a different organization. Honestly, my preference would be for the Civilian Marksmanship Program to develop an instructor/RSO certification system. There are gun rights groups I am ok with, but having CMP develop it would keep it from being a part of some political organization.

Anyway, just really wanted to say **** the NRA one more time.

All seriousness aside I was more into the how these groups can circumvent the rules and how hard it is to get at them.
