Being at war does not make you savage. Being an uncivilized nation does.
No one from the west fears for their lives when they are in Ukraine. Even with the west destabilizing the Ukraine. We have nothing to fear from Ukrainian people.
They were mentioned to show how ridiculous it was to consider a country savage or not based on skin color.
