Like I have said in the past.   I'm glad we were a British colony .  Had we been a Spanish Colony we would be 3rd world.

The British and Dutch caused this? That's a bold claim that I would love to see some evidence to support. I'd argue the founding fathers and all those who came after them to lead the US have far more to do with the fact that the US became what it is.

You also said the British and Dutch transformed "barbaric people" to do this. How so?
