1) There are plenty of public permits available for oil companies to use. Companies are not using them.

2) I'm assuming the Keystone XL pipeline is the one you're referring to that was shut down. There are plenty of people who have said the pipeline wouldn't have prevented gas prices from climbing to where they're at.

3) Declaring a "war" on fossil fuels is heavily exaggerated. Biden saying he wants to get rid of fossil fuels doesn't mean it will actually happen, especially during his presidency. But why is it wrong to push for alternative, cleaner energy sources? It's not wrong that if if you don't have to rely on gasoline as much, these high gas prices wouldn't affect you as much (or at all if you don't use gas).


Look - The reality is Russia is the 2nd highest producer of oil in the world, and many countries are refusing to do business with them due to their war with Ukraine. So it's forcing more of the world to purchase from fewer suppliers. 
Also, COVID restrictions have lightened, so more people are driving, which increases demand.
Many of the oil companies have not increased production to match the demand, which also increases costs.
Add in inflation in general, which has contributed to higher prices.

I personally don't see what Biden has (or hasn't) done being the key culprit for high gas prices. If it was, I think this would be more of a problem for the US or North America, not across the world. I see the major factors being the Russia-Ukraine war, inflation, and the oil companies not ramping up production enough to match the higher demand yet.

But if you want to put the blame on Biden, that's your choice.
