Biden beat Trump Nationally (81 million to 74 million) in 2020. Of course, we don't decide elections by popular vote, but this number does tell us about voter enthusiasm.
A long way to go, but as of today, how would you categorize Biden enthusiasm? Trump enthusiasm?
Close to 156 million votes in 2020. If Biden loses 5% of his base due to enthusiasm, he would get 77 million votes and potentially would still win the popular vote. However, in the swing states, he can't afford to lose 5% if the Trump base stays in tact or grows.
