Ok,
If I'm trying to enter the US. I go down and see the long lines to apply for asylum at the Port of Entry, so I decide to cross.

I get caught, i claim asylum because I'm on US soil now. Law says you have to accept my claim. So Now what? 
Under Title 42 I would be sent back to the last "safe" country i was in to await my hearing, but Biden allowed that to expire, so we go back to the original catch and release that Obama created, i will be released into the US and sign off on a cash bond stating i will show up for my court date. *I probably don't speak the language, but i'll sign off on whatever you want me to so i can get in.

Because the courts takes so long, i'm good to go for the next 5 or so years in the US. if life is good and i have a solid chance to be approved, i'll show up, if not, I won't show up and even then chances are very low i'll be deported and even better odds if I am in a Sanctuary city. Basically it's an ugly Loop hole that's easy to exploit.

EDIT: BTW Did I mention i jumped the line for all of those waiting legally to be allowed in on Asylum at the Ports of Entry? *suckers

Now the bill that they are trying to pass, doesn't stop any of that. Even when the threshold is reached, we still have to accept 1400 asylum requests per day. And the number of days the border can be closed decreases each year and on the 4th is back to zero days closed. So it becomes the next guy's problem.

Biden can do alot with EO's but he's not. He's letting the House play the game, and the only real thing they should be doing is deciding how much money to allocate for DHS/ICE Border walls etc.

If i do make it in with out being caught, then i'm buying more time. As once caught just yell asylum and start that process. You aren't going to deport me.
