We have four that are pretty much roster locks and a 5th who was a 3rd round pick and is only going in to year three.

I tend to agree. However, I do not think Carter or Tufele are locks for the 53. At least 5 DT/NT types will make it. And I don't think 11 DL is that unlikely. Though 6 DEs is more likely than 6 DTs, IMHO, anyway. 

But Hill, Rankins, Jenkins, and McKinnley are locks.
