I think my favorite Psy Ops story I ever heard was about a tribal village the Army wanted to move but refused to. One of their superstitions was that if leaves from a certain tree fell in front of the elder's dwelling, it was a bad omen and they would move. So they stripped a whole bunch of theses trees of these leaves and loaded them in a C130. They did a flyover at night and dropped the leaves all over the area. Next day, the village was gone.
