Lafell is an ideal bridge player. He's the #2 until the drafted rookie(s) or other WR takes that job. The 1 year deal makes mutual sense. Lafell gets to showcase himself in hopes of a few years after the season at a higher rate. 2.5M is great value for a #2 and solid for a #3. If we keep bringing up drops then keep bringing up Eifert's rate too....the real #2 in this offense.
