But even if it is not impossible to keep porn out of the reach of young children that does not mean we should just give up.  Any level of deterrence  helps.  Kids can steal liquor or get adults to buy it for them, but that does not mean we should just remove all restrictions on kids buying liquor.

I think your missing the point, I said it wouldn't stop your kids from getting it. Not sure how kiddie porn got into this part of the discussion.

Making unenforceable rules that only inconvenience those who already meet the standards are pointless laws and should not be made. As others have said, that is a you problem as far as how you parent your kids. If you are that worried restrict all access to the internet. There are remedies for you to take if your that worried, or you can do your best to as other have pointed out to explain it to them. Let's not act like easily accessible online porn hasn't been around for 10 years. Society hasn't disintegrated since, and my guess is it won't going forward.
