In high school, I got beat out in a wrestling match by a girl 50 pounds lighter than me. She should've made the team - not me. But it was an all male team, so I got to be on the squad while she got to suck eggs.

Now, if all things are fair, shouldn't the better wrestler have made the team?

First of all. Any wrestling coach that let that match take place should be fired, sued, and never allowed to coach youth athletics again.

Secondly, you are pretty much supporting the point many have made in this thread. Whether folks want to accept it or not males and females are made differently. Males are inherently much more powerful and faster.  If a female posses the athletic prowess to defeat a male on an even playing field then she should be allowed to participate in the sport. If a male can beat a female on an even playing field then he should not be allowed to participate in competition.

I think I have mentioned it before. My son ran college track and was an 800 meter specialist. He could run a sub 2:00 800M, that was good enough to get a Athletic scholarship at an NAIA school. If he were to be able to participate as a female; he'd be about 2 seconds off the world record.
