The culture we have that everything must be caught on video saddens me, especially when people neglect those around them in favor of their phone. But in this situation if I were in her shoes, trained to save a life, I may not have been videoing the events but I don't think I would have begun treating the wounds.

Edit: I was correct, the officer, with weapon still drawn, tells her twice to keep her hand where they are.

Plus her continuing to record may have kept the witness from being shot for "going for a gun" too.
