I always figured insurance companies would just say claims that result from the effects of global warming aren't covered, and they will decide what has been caused by global warming.

For real though, it makes sense that insurance companies would eventually stand against climate change. Climate change causes more severe hurricanes, tornadoes and storms, which they will then have to pay for.
