The local story refers to her first as "Melodie" and then as "Memorie" a number of times. 

I tend to not consider a lot of school stories as accurate. You only get one side. Schools can't always give much detail.

I saw that link but didn't go searching to see if they picked it up somewhere else.

Had a flu bug and spent most of the day in bed.  Kind of a nice way to avoid the real world for a few hours!
