I'm not saying Trump wasn't ill informed or outright badly overstating his support, but it's obvious he does have some there. No worse than Hillary saying all 17 intelligence agencies' investigations told her that the hacks were Russia. As if the Coast Guard Intelligence and Department of Energy's Office of Intelligence are spending their time investigating Hillary and Podesta's emails.

Take the BS with a big grain of salt when either of them open their mouth.

I don't think it's quite the same thing. After all, the Joint Statement refers to "intelligence community" unanimity about the hacking. https://www.dhs.gov/news/2016/10/07/joint-statement-department-homeland-security-and-office-director-national

Clinton's statement would be "no worse" than Trump's if only five intelligence agencies agreed Russia was the hacker, while 8 disputed the finding and four abstained. But that is not the case.
