ESPN's Arthur Ashe Courage Award and the dropped ball
#41
Can't everyone who is upset Lauren Hill didn't get it throw some money into a hat and create an award to give her? I'm not trying to sound like a smart-arse here, but quit complaining and do something. If everyone who was so upset about the Jenner thing responded by donating to whatever person/people he/she thought was more heroic's cause instead of belly-aching then we'd ALL be heroes!

I think a lot of it has to do with the notion that gratitude is a finite resource. What? How can you call Caitlyn Jenner a hero when there are so many veterans serving? What? How can you call someone who chooses to join the Army and put his/her life on the line more of a hero than a 6 year old who is battling for his/her life against cancer he/she never chose to have!

What?! How can you call blah blah blah a hero when blah blah blah is doing something I deem MORE heroic?!
