averaged 191 yards (I was mistaken on the 160 number)
an abysmal 6.16 yards per attempt
89.6 passer rating (helped greatly by his 5 to 1 TD/INT ratio
4 fumbles
9.9 yards per completion

Keep in mind that he posted these numbers against some of the worst teams and pass defenses in the league.

The stats reflect what I've been saying. He was heavily managed, threw mostly short stuff, and did not put anything on tape that would lead one to believe he can lead a prolific passing attack. He looked like a backup.

The counter to your Pittsburgh argument is that he also did not get first team reps that week and came off the bench completely cold against the team's arch rival.  Also, one of his four starts was against Denver who rode their defense all the way to a Super Bowl.
