I would assume most artists would do a great many things to get their music out to a larger crowd. Dogging the young lady for this seems like sour grapes on a number of levels. 

And I'd generally agree with you that most musicians will do whatever they can to reach the greatest audience possible.

But I understand that in this day and age some people will be put off by whatever side some entertainer backs.  

It doesn't stop me from watching an actor's work, but I will disagree with their public statements. (Not that she has made any one way or the other...just a generic statement of how I deal with their politics.)
