Im not sure I agree with your analysis that we are "just a few steps away from the post season". 

This team has a ton of holes on it. Offensive line, running back, linebacker, cornerback, defensive line depth. 

Its going to take more than a first round draft pick and the resigning of one of our current offensive lineman (who made up one of the worst offensive lines in football) to address all of those needs.
