While It's hard to disagree with what Shep Smith said it's ignoring the fact that the "news" organization he works for has only encouraged this toxic environment were the news caters to your point of view to inflate your ego rather than telling you the news.

Americans have a hard time dealing with being wrong so why would you even bother tuning into news that doesn't confirm your intelligence instead of news encouraging you to face the truth.
