It seems pretty intuitive actually. Since more people got healthcare coverage, the demand/quantity demanded of healthcare probably went up, which has a direct effect on price.
This is one of the first things you're taught in an economics course. Like, first lecture. I'm not even joking.
Because higher demand always means high prices and vice versa! Right?!?!
