You helped your point even further by neglecting the origin of it in Hinduism, which is where Buddhism got it from since Buddhism is to Hinduism as Christianity is to Judaism.
Regardless of that, if someone actually knows the history of these things they can point outthe flaw in tying it to the religion. It's a correlation v. causation situation.
