The current Trump issue is somebody said "He told Russia a secret". Nobody knows the classification of the message, so this is why we must question what is the content of the message
In fact, everyone agrees Trump "told Russia a secret."Trump himself has confirmed that. And they agree he had a right to do it regardless of classification.
The question is about his judgment, whether he should have told the secret without prior planning and input from various advisors. And the question is now about the fallout, how other intel services might revise their policy of sharing intel with the US. And about how other governments now view the US, given the chaos in the White House, all driven by a impulsive and ignorant commander in chief. We seem particularly vulnerable at the moment.
