So Trump tells the Russians that Comey was "crazy" and "a real nut job", and that him firing him means there's less pressure and no investigation.
The White House doesn't een deny it, they just said that Comey was grandstanding, which prevented negotiating with Russia, and that the real issue is... THE LEAKS of private conversations.
Reports of a video of McCarthy saying privately that he believes Putin pays Trump, Republicans laughing, McCarthy saying "no, I'm serious", and Ryan saying "no leaks, we're all family here". Both denied it. Once it was revealed there's a tape, both said they were joking.
What's the final straw for Republicans?
