All I needed to see was adjunct. Too bad, so sad, there's the door. Adjuncts can be fired (I'm sorry, I mean their contracts not renewed) for being pregnant and there are no repercussions for the university to do so, even for a public university. This is pretty non-controversial, really. Don't like it, but that's how it is.
