Bottom line is Kaep is not that good PLUS he is a huge distraction. Right or wrong, this is football and teams don't want distractions, especially not from a mediocre backup QB
As for Costas, he did say "at times" the Bengals seem to run a halfway house. That is true, not today but certainly was at times
