Look at some of the "discussions" right here.  The larger point gets lost in the battle of the exact, accepted definition of one word.  The use of slang term to slander a group becomes the focus versus the issue of the group.  

One part of the protesters acted violently so the right can make the case that it wasn't ALL the Nazis fault.  

Hedging is what people like Trump do when their personal beliefs are shown for all the world to see.

btw, slightly off topic, do people still want to say that Trump "isn't a politician" when he refuses to come down hard on an easy target like Nazis because he knows most if not all of them support him?
