Because being "emotionally charged" solves nothing and only serves to exacerbate the violence leading to even more people being injured and killed.

On one hand, I agree with you that hate should be challenged, on the other hand, though, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to let them be vocal so we all know who the racist ones are.
