To be fair I clarified my stance due to the brevity of my original answer long before the first two attempts to make it look like I was letting people off the hook because they were set off by a particular person and an attempted lesson in the English language.

That does not excuse what is said or done. It is a reality that some people get so upset and things (real and perceived) that they cannot help themselves when they respond.
