Short trip? In most cases, you're talking years. On the flip side, if you grant legal status through DACA, they can then be eligible for a green card, and later citizenship, while still living in the US, contributing to the economy, and paying taxes. 

The only argument against this is that you personally do not like them for what their parents did and their desire to be a part of this country.
