I'll give you credit for consistency, but I don't believe being consistently wrong is a virtue.
And he's overlooking the fact we had such a boom in the 50-60s was due in large part to US companies making a lot of cash during WWII and reinvesting that in the US which — at the time — at tax rates about three times higher than current. Our financial boom had nothing to do with immigration, it had to do with US companies making a lot of money and paying a lot of taxes. Which pretty well ended with the 1980s and Reagan's tax reforms.
