As per the OP, I think a lot of the coverage has to do with how low key it was and the fact that the FBI acted immediately and was quite successful without making a scene. We know Trump won't tweet about this just, but I don't know if the media "ignoring" it has to do with race.
I kind of thought that Trump would tweet because it shows how safe he personally is keeping the forgotten citizens of the US.
