Who the hell said there should be no laws for equal protection? This is just a buzz phrase folks use to excuse their intolerance of folks that have different opinions (BTW Opinions cannot be wrong) than them.
Difference of opinions is one thing.
Hating others because of the sexual preferences? That's different. As is actively lying to try and have rights removed from those people.
