Brings to mind the beginning of the Republican Presidential race. The party came up with this 'Everyone must sign to support whomever is nominated" pact. The intent was to ensure once Trump was eliminated he wouldn't try to divide the party. But guess what? He won and now the party is dividing itself on many issues.

Similar to those in the media and general public that try to expose Trump's flaws. They usually only succeed in making themselves look petty. Just look at many of the famous folks comments.

Trump was elected because he wins the culture war. The lesson for conservatives moving forward is they shouldn’t be afraid to go after Democrats because Republicans are tired of taking the high road while being called racists.
