Is it all that surprising? There are people who claim Dalton isn't a good QB, that he doesn't win games, that he has a weak arm, etc. Heck, there are a couple that legitimtaely believe the NFL fixes games. Why, then, would it be surprising that there are those who think Merv is out to ruin Ross's career?

Especially when it's clear Merv wants to help the Steelers out in any way he can.
