They gave Jerome Simpson every chance to learn the WR playbook and get out on the field so, yes, I think that John Ross absolutely gets to hit the reset button.
Personally, I'm not worried at all and think John Ross will have a strong 2nd year and be an impact player for the Bengals. I think Malone does as well.
