This is part of the obstacle in having any kind of rational discussion on abortion. Some religious beliefs hold that birth control isn’t too different than abortion, so some lawmakers think it’s their obligation to stop birth control.
Family planning is probably not a concern for most 60-plus year old millionaires in congress. It’s different for a 30 year old with massive amounts of student loan debt.
